What is the AWS Community Builders Program?
The AWS Community Builders Program is a global initiative by Amazon Web Services that supports and empowers active members of the cloud community. It offers selected participants exclusive access to AWS product teams, learning resources, technical mentorship, and credits to experiment with new AWS services. The program is designed to foster growth for those who consistently share knowledge, publish educational content, speak at events, or contribute to open-source projects.
Nikolay’s Role and Impact
Over the years, Nikolay has significantly contributed to the AWS and DevOps communities. He regularly publishes deep-dive technical articles focused on infrastructure as code, cloud automation, CI/CD pipelines, and security best practices
Beyond his technical work, Nikolay actively participates in community events and often mentors junior engineers looking to enter the cloud space. His consistent involvement and thought leadership have made him a trusted voice in the DevOps ecosystem.
How to Become an AWS Community Builder
The AWS Community Builders Program accepts new members through an open application process held a few times each year. Applicants are asked to share their area of interest – such as DevOps, Serverless, Containers, or Security – and provide examples of their contributions, including blog posts, talks, videos, or open-source work.
The selection process favors individuals who are passionate about learning and sharing knowledge, regardless of experience level or job title. More information about applying can be found on the AWS Community Builders official page.
Congratulations, Nikolay!
Nikolay’s continued presence in the program is a testament to his expertise, consistency, and community-driven mindset. We at ITGix are thrilled to see his efforts recognized and look forward to another year of impactful contributions to the global cloud community.
