IT Systems Administrator (Internal Infrastructure)

Job description:

  • Maintain and support the company’s internal infrastructure and office IT environment.
  • Administer and maintain Linux-based systems and on-premise servers.
  • Provide technical support for employee laptops, hardware, and peripherals.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access to internal systems.
  • Handle onboarding and offboarding processes (device preparation, access provisioning, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot hardware, operating system, and network-related issues.
  • Assist with network configuration and connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Write and maintain basic shell scripts for automation and operational tasks.
  • Monitor internal systems and ensure their availability and reliability.
  • Document internal IT procedures and system configurations.
  • Collaborate with DevOps engineers when needed on infrastructure-related tasks.
  • Working hours: 08:00 – 17:00 h. / 11:00 – 20:00 h.

The main requirements are:

  • Basic experience or strong knowledge of Linux system administration.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, etc.).
  • Experience or familiarity with shell scripting.
  • Practical knowledge of computer hardware and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues in a structured way.
  • Familiarity with Git and common development tools is a plus.
  • Good communication skills and ability to support colleagues with varying technical backgrounds.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken)

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Basic knowledge of Kubernetes.
  • Basic experience with AWS.
  • Basic familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
